FEATURED WORK

                        Untitled

Oh what a day, in the light of this sorrow,
Here I stand, at the foot of your grave.
It beggars belief, the sun rises tomorrow,
On the darkest of all christmas days.
I never did say all the things that I wanted,
But I sure never asked for this pain.
Time is a healer and all things must pass,
So they say, so they say, so they say.

The heartache is heavy, the earth looks so cold,
Imagination is empty at the thought of you old,
I'll remember your smile and the lies that you told,
Day after day after day.

What to do now, the service has ended?
Do I laugh? Do I cry? Celebrate?
Your spirit has gone, your casket descended,
I take my hat off to you mate.
To the memory of you, there's a raised glass or two,
A couple of barrels and some (Cough Cough)
illegals too,
We'll send you off smiling, but we'll be missing you.
On your way, on your way, on your way.
