LOVE at a LOSS(2)

Tell me
what did love
do at the weekends
Did you share gulps of sea air
on sandy beaches
hold hands, linger longingly
sit in the park
eating peanuts and drinking fresh orange juice
Take long walks or
cycle up steep hills,
free wheeling recklessly down the other side.
Tell me
When was love lost
How did it get away
Did you
put up posters
stop strangers,
seek help from passers by
How did it feel
Did you laugh or did you cry
Tell me what was it like
love at a loss.
