You were on the path to my heart
but the plan has changed
I no longer welcome you into places hidden from the world
Places that I thought we could share
Feelings that stay dormant when they are kept secret
A fire that begs to be tamed
I heard the knock on the door and knew what was next
But your rapid, jumbled response I didn't expect.
The plan was changed when I heard her say,
'So I can't come in?'
You gave into her demand so easily,
never a slight protest
I knew the plan had to change with or without my consent
The kisses you give are now paltry at best
The words you speak...nothingness
I eagerly awaited an explanation for actions
not at all like what you've shown
now the question in moot
this relationship will not go on
