How many insults
have we spat out
over the years......
How many times
can we laugh through
our tears........
How many knocks
can one person take,
then begin
a new journey
with a safe,
life to make.....
How many friends
did we make
then see fall.......
and why do we
forgive
for nothing at all.....
How many times
have we been
promised joy.....
a beautiful girl
or a cute
little boy....
How many hard times
have been overcome....
how many people
have seen
the things
that I've done......
How many angels
have come
into our lives.....
and slipped
by unnoticed
with our inhuman eyes........
The answer is
we will never know
just keep living
our life
as we continue
to grow........
