Spends time with his father 2 or 3 times a month and wishes he could spend more time with him. In fact, he doesn't understand why he can't spend more time or why they can't do more things together; travelling with his dad appeals especially.

He is a boy, with an outlook, probably, similar to that of Self's at the age of nine. Only having to subconsciously cope with the need to repeatedly re-connect with and interweave himself into his father's life. Self was not an only child, nor was he a child of single parent(s).
