What's Real (part 3 -my own walk)

To "keep it real"
But now I KNOW the deal

And I can peel back
through the layers of these
ancient geological stone patterns
That attempted to circumscribe
my natural fluidity of identity
like the restrictive rings around Saturn
The attraction
Of its invisible gravitational field
pulling me silently into orbit
An historic space shuttle mission
with an invitation to come aboard
Yet stay on my very own ship

The catch 22
You see I lacked the objective vantage point
from which to accurately define it then
but I,
knew it was true
Like a fish,
unable to articulate the characteristics of your liquid habitat
because it CONSTANTLY surrounds you
So I attempted to perform in-TRA-generational evolution
– not by severing my connection with the deep blue

Sea.
But by impregnating myself
and later becoming the proud father
of my very own, beautiful, baby brown identical twin...feet

So, naturally I began to walk my own walk
Deciding that I wanted to see the TOPS

Of mountains
I’d requested no guide yet people were always tryin to re-route and

Re-direct my path
– trying to play judge
